THE RULES, MINUS THE ROBES

Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of AirPosture. The short version: it is a $17 downloadable Mac app, not a subscription, and it is a posture reminder—not a doctor.

Effective July 31, 2026

1. Product and acceptance

AirPosture is a downloadable macOS menu-bar application that uses motion-capable AirPods to compare head movement with a user-calibrated upright baseline and play an alert when posture remains outside the selected range.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using AirPosture, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

AirPosture is not a paid community, membership, dashboard, online course, or subscription service.

2. Price and payment

  • Price: US$17 as a single, non-recurring payment.
  • No automatic renewal and no subscription.
  • Applicable VAT, sales tax, or similar taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.
  • The purchase includes the current v0.1 features, a license for one Mac, and product updates released during the first year after purchase.

Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ, acts as merchant of record and contractual reseller for the transaction. Creem collects payment, calculates and remits applicable indirect taxes, issues the invoice, and provides payment-related customer services. Your purchase is also subject to Creem’s Buyer Terms.

3. Delivery

After a successful purchase, Creem sends the purchase confirmation and current access instructions using the email address supplied at checkout. During the initial launch period, those instructions may point to AirPosture’s private GitHub repository while a customer-ready download is prepared. Keep your purchase email for support and license recovery.

Repository access is not guaranteed by possession of the link alone. If the instructions do not arrive or GitHub does not grant access, contact hey@nerdconf.com from the purchase email address and include the Creem order identifier.

4. Compatibility

The first release requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later and motion-capable AirPods. You are responsible for checking compatibility before purchase. AirPosture may not work with older Macs, unsupported headphones, Windows, Linux, iPhone, or iPad.

5. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use AirPosture on one Mac for your own lawful use. Ownership of AirPosture and all related intellectual property remains with us and our licensors.

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute AirPosture;
  • share the download or license with other people;
  • reverse engineer, bypass technical restrictions, or modify the software except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • use AirPosture for unlawful, abusive, or infringing activity.

6. Updates and availability

Your purchase includes updates that we choose to release during the first year after purchase. It does not promise any specific future feature, operating-system support, hardware support, or update schedule.

We may modify or discontinue parts of AirPosture when reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, legal, or product reasons. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Support

Product support is available at hey@nerdconf.com. We aim to respond within three business days. Support covers purchase delivery, installation, compatibility, basic operation, and refund requests; it does not include medical, ergonomic, or health advice.

8. Refunds

AirPosture includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. Eligibility, request instructions, processing time, and the effect of a refund are explained in our Refund Policy. Nothing in that policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

9. Not medical advice

AirPosture is a general posture reminder. It is not a medical device, healthcare service, diagnostic tool, treatment, or substitute for professional advice. It does not detect injury or guarantee improved health, pain prevention, or any particular outcome.

Stop using the app and consult a qualified professional if you experience pain, dizziness, numbness, or another health concern.

10. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent allowed by law, AirPosture is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device or future operating-system version, or a specific health or posture result.

This disclaimer does not exclude warranties or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, or opportunity arising from AirPosture.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to AirPosture will not exceed the amount you paid for the product. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be excluded for fraud, willful misconduct, or certain personal injuries.

12. Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use AirPosture. We may terminate the license for a material breach. If the license ends or a purchase is refunded, you must stop using and delete all copies of the software.

13. Mandatory law and disputes

These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact hey@nerdconf.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms for legal, security, or product reasons. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date shown on this page. Questions may be sent to hey@nerdconf.com.
