THE NO-CREEPY-STUFF DOCUMENT

Privacy Policy

AirPosture is built to remind you about posture without watching you. This policy explains what stays on your Mac, what our service providers process, and the choices available to you.

Effective July 31, 2026

1. Who we are

AirPosture is developed and supported by NERDCONF (“AirPosture,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact hey@nerdconf.com.

This policy applies to the AirPosture macOS application, this website, purchases of AirPosture, and support communications.

2. Data processed by the Mac app

AirPosture reads motion data made available by compatible AirPods through Apple’s Core Motion framework. The app compares current head movement with the upright baseline you create during calibration.

  • Motion samples are processed locally on your Mac.
  • AirPosture does not use or access your webcam.
  • Your baseline, preferences, and latest diagnostic log are stored locally in your Mac’s Application Support folder.
  • The app does not send motion samples, posture measurements, images, or diagnostic logs to us.
  • The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics.

You can delete the diagnostic log from the app. Removing AirPosture’s Application Support folder deletes the saved baseline, settings, and log.

3. Website data

We do not require an account to browse the website and we do not run our own advertising or behavioral analytics. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process basic request and security data such as your IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device information, requested page, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.

We do not set marketing cookies. Hosting and checkout providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to provide, secure, or complete their services.

4. Purchase and payment data

AirPosture purchases are processed by Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ, as merchant of record. Creem collects the information needed to complete the transaction, which may include your name, email, country, billing address, payment information, tax information, IP address, and order details.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Creem may provide us with customer and order information—such as your name, email, country, product, payment status, and order identifiers—so we can deliver the software, provide support, manage the license, and handle refund requests.

Creem processes buyer data under its own Privacy Notice and Buyer Terms.

5. Support communications

If you email us, we process your email address, the content of your message, any attachments you choose to send, and information needed to solve the issue. Please do not send sensitive medical information. AirPosture is not a medical service.

6. Why we process personal data

Where data-protection law applies, we rely on:

  • Contract: to deliver AirPosture, administer a license, provide support, and handle refunds.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and secure the website, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
  • Legal obligations: to maintain required transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and compliance records.
  • Consent: where the law requires consent for a specific optional activity. You may withdraw it at any time.

7. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose personal data only when needed to operate AirPosture, complete purchases, provide support, protect the service, comply with law, or establish and defend legal claims. Core providers include:

  • Vercel: website hosting, content delivery, request logs, reliability, and security. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice.
  • Creem: checkout, merchant-of-record services, payment processing, invoicing, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, and customer portal services.
  • Email providers: delivery and storage of support communications.

We do not sell personal data.

8. Retention

  • App data remains on your Mac until you delete it or uninstall and remove AirPosture’s Application Support data.
  • Support messages are generally retained for up to 24 months after the request is resolved, unless a longer period is needed for a dispute or legal obligation.
  • Order and license records are retained for as long as needed to provide the product, satisfy accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
  • Hosting and payment providers retain data according to their own policies and legal duties.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, transfers are protected by recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data; ask for data portability; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

Send requests to hey@nerdconf.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. For payment data controlled by Creem, you may also contact Creem directly.

11. Children

AirPosture is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app or website.

12. Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the product, providers, or law changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
